This collection of insights has come from my reading church history, and many years of ministry, including leadership at a local and wider level. Further there has been my personal participation in worship, camps, retreats, and day-to-day living, rubbing shoulders with regular Aussies including fellow Christians. These ideas have really made a difference in the journeys of ordinary people living out their lives in a broken world just like ours—but living with zest, enthusiasm and purpose. I’ve also seen the same, as I’ve studied the pages of church life globally today, where the culture is often very different, but the impact is also momentous.
